Opportunity for a highly capable Salesforce Administrator to help ensure we capitalize on all of the benefits offered by our system.  As a Salesforce Administrator at KVH Industries, you will be a part of the team responsible for ensuring that your extensive knowledge of system administration and your ability to work in a fast-paced environment translates into optimized Sales and Service department operations.  This is a remote/hybrid position with some limited work in office.  

The responsibilities of Salesforce Administrators are broad and reach just about every aspect of KVH which include:

• Serve as a System Administrator for the KVH Salesforce Production and Sandbox orgs to ~300 users globally
• Provide end user support with production issues or other concerns
• Manage users, roles, profiles, security rules, etc.
• Manage mass data updates and imports
• Optimize layouts to improve end-user adoption / usability
• Create declarative automations to optimize complex business processes
• Develop process documentation and field maps
• Support installed managed packages (e.g., Internet Creations products, Conga, etc.)
• Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization

Salesforce Administrator Skills

• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
• Experience in using Data Loader, Workbench, and other data maintenance tools
• Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams

Salesforce Administrator Qualifications

KVH Salesforce Administrators need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.

Required Qualifications

• Salesforce Administrator Certified
• Strong Experience on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, Flows, workflows, Process Builders, custom views, and other content
• Expert in Lightning and Classic Reports and Dashboards
• Knowledgeable with change sets, sandboxes, Data loader and deployment practices
