Manage sales activities for satellite connectivity and related products and services from our Greece location. Full time position with a base salary plus commission structure.
Responsibilities
Sell KVH products and services to new and existing customer base.
Meet targeted forecasts and objectives.
Implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals.
Assists with sales forecasting activities and review with partners.
Perform market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates, and provide input to the organization about same to help form product and service strategy
Supports channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales partner relationships.
Advises distributors, resellers and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
Works assigned sales territory but supports the EMEA team.
Analyzes sales statistics to help formulate policy and assist partners in promoting sales.
Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with Regional Director.
Meets with key clients, maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing opportunities.
Coordinates liaison between customers/ partners and sales support related units.
Prepares sales and trip reports, informing the organization about sales performance, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
Travel abroad if needed,
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
2 years’ experience required in maritime electronics, maritime IT services or satellite communications field.
Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Business Management /Studies.
Computer skills including MS Office, E-mail, Internet, and database experience.
Disciplined record keeping and opportunity tracking in CRM system
Strong written and oral presentation/reporting skills.
Superior communication and organizational skills.
Excellent negotiation techniques and the ability to close deals.
