The Role

Working within the Finance team at KVH Media Group, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to take a leading role within a busy and fast-paced environment. Based at our Leeds office, you will oversee the Accounts Payable function and support the wider finance team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all purchase ledger activity.

This role also involves supervising and supporting a small team , while playing a key part in improving processes and maintaining high standards of accuracy and control.

• Ownership of the group’s Accounts Payable function reporting to the Financial Controller
• Managing a team of one other Accounts Payable Clerk
• Driving continuous improvement by identifying areas for improvement and designing and implementing new processes.
• Maintenance of the Accounts Payable Ledger, including Master Data
• Timely processing of payments
• Dealing with Supplier queries in a timely manner
• Assisting with internal and external audit requests
• Timely reporting to management

• Confident, self-motivated with a hardworking attitude and the ability to communicate with all levels within the business
• Experience of managing a small team
• Good organisational skills in order to delegate works loads effectively and ensure deadlines are met
• Good understanding and recent hand on experience of the accounts payable process
• Good attention to detail
• Computer literate with good Excel skills and a solid understanding of accounting software packages, specifically, Sage Line 50 and Epicor Kinetic
